Saat diliput pada tahun 2018 lalu, Dodong masih dalam usia balita sehingga masih digendong oleh kedua orangtuanya.
Kini ketika Dodong sudah bertambah besar dan bisa berjalan sendiri, ia berperan sebagai mata bagi kedua orangtuanya yang tunanetra.

Sehari-hari kedua orangtuanya harus mengandalkan sedekah dari orang lain.
