Polisi berhasil menangkap RE, pelaku pembunuhan terhadap Adi Saputra,
warga Kelurahan Kemang Agung, Kertapati pada Kamis (13/2/2020) lalu.
Adi merupakan calon pengantin.“Pelaku sudah ditangkap semalam,” kata Kapolsek Kertapati, AKP Paulin Eterna Agustinus Pakpahan, Jumat (14/2/2020).
Dilanjutkannya, pelaku kini diserahkan ke Satreskrim Polrestabes Palembang guna penyidikan lebih lanjut.
“Pelaku sudah diserahkan ke Polrestabes Palembang karena keluarga korban membuat laporan di Polrestabes,” kata Paulin.
Diketahui, Adi Saputra, pemuda 20 tahun ini tewas setelah ditusuk seorang berinisial RE.
Informasi yang dihimpun, peristiwa pembunuhan tersebut terjadi tak jauh dari kediaman korban di Jalan Kemas Rindo, Kelurahan Kemang Agung, Kecamatan Kertapati pada Kamis (13/2/2020) petang sekira pukul 17.30.
Ayahanda korban, Syamsul Bahri mengatakan, Adi dibunuh karena RE dendam pada korban.
“Yang saya tahu, sepertinya pelaku dendam sama anak saya. Anak saya luka tiga tusukan, satu di perut dan dua di lengan,” kata Syamsul saat dijumpai di rumah duka, Jumat (14/2/2020).
Keluarga membenarkan, Adi akan menikah dengan Lina pada 26 Februari mendatang.
“Anak saya mau nikah tanggal 26 Februari nanti. Calon istrinya sangat terpukul atas kepergian Adi,” kata Syamsul
Rencananya, jenazah Adi akan dikebumikan di pemakaman keluarga tak jauh dari rumah korban pada Jumat siang pukul 14.00.
Keluarga berharap pelaku segera ditemukan dan dihukum seberat-beratnya.
“Saya berharap polisi segera menangkap tersangka dan menghukum seberat-beratnya sesuai perbuatannya,” tandas Syamsul.

Sebelumnya diberitakan, Lina tak kuasa membendung air matanya saat melihat jasad Adi Saputra, calon suaminya terbujur kaku di ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Bari.
Lina meratap di samping jenazah Adi yang tewas diduga dibunuh seseorang di lingkungan tempat tinggalnya di Kertapati.
“Ayah bangun, sebentar lagi kita mau nikah,” kata Lina sambil berurai air mata.
